Cost & appointment scheduling

Tutoring is free for any student currently enrolled at Northampton Community College in credit courses.

Generally, students can schedule up to two hours of appointments per subject per week.

Check the Learning Center website to check our current schedule.

Drop-in tutoring

Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis for math, science, and select other subjects.

Drop-in tutoring does not require an appointment to be scheduled in advance. During drop-in tutoring, tutors circulate around the room and help students.

Academic coaching

During academic coaching, an academic coach meets with a student one-on-one to discuss topics such as goal-setting, time management, textbook reading, note-taking, study strategies, getting involved at NCC, and utilizing additional resources.

Online tutoring

Students can participate in online tutoring using a live video interface with a whiteboard and screen sharing capabilities.
