Login Information for Student Accounts
Here is the direct link to the NCC Student Logins page. It has links to sign into your student accounts (including Workday, Blackboard and Email) and other helpful resources.
Students should receive their account information within 24 hours to the personal email used to submit their application. Nearly all your NCC student accounts will use the same login information. Please be sure to check your junk mail. Students who apply for Selective Admissions programs, such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, etc., receive their Workday account information upon acceptance into the program or acceptance into General Studies or Health Sciences.
Below is the typical format for your email, username and initial password.
Email: For most students, the student email address will be:
[firstname].[lastname]@student.northampton.edu.
Username: The Workday username will be just [firstname].[lastname]. For example, John Smith’s email is [email protected] and his workday username is “john.smith”.
Password: The initial password for Workday/email will be the following: Lowercase first letter of first name; Uppercase first letter of last name; exclamation point (!); 4 digit year of birth; 3 letter abbreviation of birth month with upper case first letter. For example, John Smith’s birthday is 01/17/2003; so his initial password is “jS!2003Jan”.
Help: If you follow these instructions but still have trouble accessing email or workday, contact the NCC Help Desk for assistance.

The NCC Help Desk can also assist with resetting NCC Workday or email passwords. They normally process password reset requests the same business day or the next morning.
Microsoft Office (Office 365)
Enrolled students have access to a web-based version of Microsoft Office (Office 365). They can also install a desktop version through Office 365. This video demonstrates how to access Office 365 and install the desktop version.
For assistance accessing or installing Office 365, contact the NCC Help Desk.
Additional support for students is available from the Learning Center’s Academic Coaches. To schedule an appointment with an academic coach, contact the Learning Center staff via their virtual front desk, phone (610-861-5517), or email ([email protected]).

How to Forward Your NCC Email
Please remember that when sending NCC-related emails, you should always send from your NCC email account. If you send NCC emails from your personal account, your messages may be automatically sorted into junk folders, and there is no way for faculty or staff to verify your identity.
1) Begin by logging into your NCC outlook account.
2) Click on the Settings gear icon at the top of the webpage.
3) Select “View all Outlook settings” at the bottom of the pane.
4) In the settings dialog box, select “Mail” then “Forwarding.”
5) Select the “Enable forwarding” checkbox and enter in the email address that you wish to forward to.
6) Finally, click “Save.”
Workday
View how to navigate Workday and find important information.
You can also review our Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for Workday-related instructions. Note, you will need your student login credentials to access the QRGs.
Blackboard
Google Chrome is the recommended browser and students are encouraged to access Blackboard from a standard computer, laptop, or Chromebook. Be sure to review any important announcements that are posted. Also, keep in mind that a Blackboard help tool can be found in the bottom right corner of the login page to submit a help ticket for Blackboard, and your ticket will be responded to during business hours via email.
1) To begin, go to northampton.blackboard.com.
2) Click on the blue NCC Login button.
3) On the next page, enter in your NCC credentials and click "Sign in" to enter Blackboard.
4) Complete Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) if prompted.
NCC credentials are the login username and password that are also used to access Workday.
Blackboard is only used for current courses. You won't have access until closer to your first course's start date (typically a few days before classes start). You'll be sent an email from NCC Online Learning to your student email account that will include helpful information to get you started.
Check out NCC's Blackboard YouTube playlist for help with how to use and navigate Blackboard.
